Honestly, I’m a bit bored. I don’t understand the hype so far. But I still want to see if it gets better so I shall read on… I also tried the audiobook but snooze fest! Every time I listen to it, I wake up an hour later with no recollection of even laying my head down. So I’ve decided to skip the audiobook and just read. We’ll see how this goes.

Melodramatic, a little bit pathetic, and filled with enough plot holes to trip over but entertaining nonetheless.

This might actually be the most melodramatic and dumbest thing I’ve ever read in my entire life and yes I will be finishing the series

Kingfisher writes the most natural dialogue I’ve ever read in romance and the yearning is so good. This is one of those that just ruins the rest of the genre for me because it’s so excellent. The storyline was a little confusing and I wish there had been more variety of settings, but overall a super fun read.
If you have a void for Ser Duncan the Tall from GoT this is it.
