This is one of those books that I randomly found on insta so I followed the author (I honestly don't even know why, the book wasn't even out yet) and since then I've been super excited to read it. I've also been putting it off cause I'm scared that I'll like it so much that I'll be sad that is over, but the fomo seeing other people reading the book and loving is getting to me. Needless to say, I have a bit of high hopes for this

I absolutely loved this book. Iām not sure how much this exposes me, but Vi is the carbon copy physical representation of who I was in high school (many witnesses will agree). Sheās so flawed but so perfect and in all honesty, sheās literally just a girl whoās tirreedddd. Give my girl a break!

DNF. It just felt too YA for me, Iām too old to be reading about an angry teenager.
I couldnāt get into the FMC, she rubbed me the wrong way from the start. The whole āIām a girl who likes nerdy stuff and no one understands meā angle felt outdated and a little overdramatic. At this point, D&D and video games are everywhere, as well as girls doing those things. This idea that theyāre still weird, nerdy, and for outcasts just didnāt land for me.
