These Infinite Threads is filled with magic, romance and betrayal, and had me on the edge of my seat in every chapter, just like the first book, This Woven Kingdom. But I find myself liking the second book more than the first.
Alizeh and Cyrusâs slow burn romance was perfect. Hate-to-love trope? They have it! I loved it! Their banter was so good it had me smiling a lot, and their marriage of convenience has me excited for the third book. Marriage of Convenience is one of my favourite tropes. Iâm loving their dynamic and looking forward to seeing how their relationship develops in the third book. Slow burn is the best.
I love how Alizeh shows reluctance yet care towards Cyrus while not knowing what he is truly hiding, and how she slowly begins to understand him more. I love Alizeh so much, she is a fierce strong female character. I loved how she can stand up for herself and knows what to beleive in and whatâs right. I also loved seeing how her magic progressed. It seemed lile sheâs the most powerful person in the world.
Cyrusâs words to Alizeh made me melt. Ahh! Loved his witty banter. He was willing to marry her, give her his kingdom, and even let her kill him, as well as openly show his affection for her. This man seems to have fallen for her at first sight. Love a man that worships his woman.
The story was a bit slow, but this is alright with meââThese Infinite Threads wasnât rushed but was a great read. It gives more growth to other characters, even if their roles were short. Cannot wait to read All This Twisted Glory!
