I've heard that they're making a screen adaptation of these series, hence I'm rereading them so I can hate on the adaptation more accurately when they inevitably focus only on the romance plot and ditch all the yummy yummy politics, schemes and interesting characters.

Might just be me but why does ”magnificient north” remind me so much of narnia? Like you just entered the closet into this new world with lots of secrets and a kingdom far away
