    🙄

DNF at 35%. I know this was one of the OG cyberpunk stories but it’s dated in a way that hurts the story rather than helps it. It reeks of 80s Reagan era individualism with the hero being very cliche by modern standards and the “strong” woman love interest feeling more like a femme fatale (in the negative sense of the word). Boring, couldn’t get through it though I wanted so badly for it to work.

    Question about reading!

I’m sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but I’ve never read a discworld book… would anyone suggest this as a standalone since it’s the start of its own series or should I hunt for the first discworld book and go from there?

Thank you to anyone who has some input!
