Does anybody hate reading a 7 feet guy with 46 pack abs and an extremely small incapable girl but gets angry very easily, trope? Don't get me wrong, I've thoroughly enjoyed some books with this trope but why do I feel every romantasy incorporates this nowadays, can I get a fresh perspective please? 😭

Absolutely breathtaking. Reading this book made Mahabharat so much more enticing for me and a general reader! Just breathtaking.

I remember it being an extremely slow start. Lo and Behold! It is. Yet I know I'm gonna enjoy this because Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni.

Re read.
Just as amazing as the first time I'd read this. A marvellous re-iteration of a commonly believed and cherished mythology. My heart goes for Sita and all the women, as well as some of the men. I love how Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni doesn't make men the villian but find nuanced redemptions or character traits of them to display them as inherently human whilst also providing us with enough empathy and anger for the injustices suffered by women.
Such a precious book 💓

This and Better than the Movies are the only rom-coms I absolutely love (coming from a totally non-romance reader)
This book is a palate cleanser which also feels like a breath of fresh air. I absolutely dig the portrayal of grief and portrayal of Iwan's passion towards his craft. I love how it normalizes change instead of forcing both of them to be how they were seven years before.
I loooove this booook!!
