I personally enjoyed reading it. It was exciting enough, but not too exciting that I couldn’t sleep wondering what will happen next. I like the light foreshadowing of who it could be and how the reader gets enough context clues to figure it out around the same time Annie does.
The characters were enjoyable, sometimes a little one dimensional but not to a point where it annoyed me while reading. I like how Kristen Perrin didn’t make the main character a helpless woman that suddenly became way smarter or stronger than anyone else- I really liked Annie’s character!
Sometimes I had trouble reading a few pages just because I get really bad secondhand embarrassment though.
Overall I’d definitely recommend the book.

I hate Snow. Nothing will ever explain or redeem him. The only people I felt bad were the ones in his life. It’s so fascinating to see how, no matter what happens, he always only thinks of himself.
