I love it when authors use witchcraft to explore feminity and women's experiences in society . . . . Also men suck

If you only read one book this year, it has to be Hamnet This was incredible. It was so gorgeously written and I felt so connected to the characters. I found it so interesting that they decentred William Shakespeare and instead focused on Agnes who I thought was an amazing character. I could go on for ages about it but it truly captured the human experience, the pain and heartbreak that we experience but also the wonder and love.
