Subtly beautiful. The main character’s curiosity is infections and kept me steadily journeying on as it did her. I’m choked up finishing this and will need more time to put it all into words.

Dang. I did not expect to come up with almost 2 pages of worries stemming from the business affirmation I created. But it was interesting to see how my brain began to work out ways to mitigate or avoid them as I was writing the affirmations on the other side of the paper. As someone who worries a lot about things way far off in the future it was nice to get them all out now so that I can be mindful of creating structural supports for myself.

Pre-Test score: 3/45 For not having a practice at all yet I am encouraged that I was able to check off one box in each section. Was I being a little generous with "I streamline my tasks to make sure I am as efficient as possible," a little! But, until I am taught an even more streamlined approach for all I know I'm doing pretty great. I am definitely excited to compare after reading this book and see what I score. I think I am most looking forward to the first section that is reframing how I feel about making a profit because I would love to shake this feeling of guilt for prioritizing my well-being/lifestyle for the service of others.
