i feel bad for giving three stars to the legendary goethe, but werther was so annoying from the very beggining.. all pathetic because a girl loves her fiance, thinking you're the second place in her heart and then kissing her against her will, calling her yours while she is about to get married.. i just can't understand that and for me it deserves zero empathy and doesn't get the effect that i think it aimed for, broken heart and that kind of things... i just dislike werther so much as a character and i think three stars is fair...

Kind, beefy, and bumbling, these male love interests are sweet and maybe a tad spicy.

My re-read self care journey through my Hazelwood collection continues. I was gonna save this one for closer to the movie release, but I’ve gotta read all the scientist romances together and this is actually the one I haven’t read in the longest time. I REALLY hope the movie lives up to the book! 🤞🏻 The casting is delightful.
