Finally reading this classic! The language is so eloquent and, at times, a little dramatic, which I'm finding pretty amusing

I had so much fun reading this book! Getting to know each of the characters better as they grew has me so much more invested in the plot now! What I enjoy the most about this series is the way it's written in a way that paints such a vivid image of the world, it really feel like you're watching a movie. The Sanderlanche was a whole journey again (which I was pumped to get to when it finally came around lmao), and left me with so many more questions of how the plot would develop further. I needa start reading book 3 ASAP

Usually I like when stories don't overexplain the world building, but ngl I'm struggling a bit with the lack of contextualization. As the plot starts picking up, it's making a bit more sense tho!
Also, I notice the hyper specific comparisons Sylvia makes of herself to insects lmao "vindictive speed of a wasp" and "bloodthirsty cockroach" were wild
