A fascinating, TMA-esque horror that delves deep into generational trauma and supernatural forces. I quite enjoyed it, especially listening to the audiobook with occasional lines from Jonny Sims himself. The plot was a bit hard to follow at times, as were the characterisations, but overall it's a good story and a good horror.

I don't quite know what to make of Diya yet (or any of the others, for that matter!), but I am most definitely intrigued.

The Orm is back with Walter Moers - it had been simmering already in Insel der Tausend Leuchttürme, and now it is back in full force. This is such a silly, lighthearted novel with lower stakes than you'd think at times, and it's glorious. Qwert, known from Käpt'n Blaubär, tumbles through a dimensional hole into the land of Ormea, straight into the body of Prinz Kaltbluth. And this is where the story begins - a story filled with Knights, Medusas, Muses, more Knights, talking frogs, rusty gnomes and so much more. Adventure, intrigue, love, everything can be found in this book.
