Hi! I’m eyeing the Libro.fm BOGO sale because there’s a book there I’ve been meaning to buy anyway, and I might as well get a second one free. The problem is every other book I’m interested in, I’ve already read, or intend to read on my ereader rather than with my ears 😅
I’m a bit overwhelmed by the offerings and don’t have the spoons to individually read up on every audiobook, does anyone have any recommendations from the sale?

"The garden is to fail. A lot. There is no way around the fact that you are going to kill many plants throughout your experience. You can't let this haunt you too much. Provided you aren't poaching rare plants ... You can rest easy knowing that these failures eventually teach you how to succeed."
I needed to hear this. 🥺

I still enjoyed this, but it felt repetitive. Joan would run off trying to fix everything, and then she'd end up getting in a fight and someone would get hurt. Rinse and repeat, with some interesting interpersonal scenes interspersed until the resolution.

I enjoyed this! (Less than the first book, but more than the second book.) The opposites-attract fake dating combo really worked for me, and Iris and Stevie have excellent romantic and sexual chemistry in the book.
I'm not a huge fan of third act breakups, even if I don't usually mind them. As in the first book, the breakup in this one felt like it unnecessarily prolonged the book and didn't spend as much time on the making-up to compensate for that. Stevie experiences a lot of personal growth and confidence in this book, and it felt a little bit disproportionate to Iris's. Those things said, this was still a fun, spicy, HEA sapphic romance.
