I really enjoyed reading Frankenstein! It was a breath of fresh air with all the contemporary books I've been reading lately.
but one thing I can't get out of my head. If it was his first time creating a life and a creature, why would you go for an 8 foot tall one? Why not create a smaller one, so it's easier to trap it if it's not what you wanted it to be? :D
Also, I love how Mary Shelley was like: "I know exactly how to make life, but I ain't gonna tell you, so you can't create another one" :D

Just a thought dump really. It's so unfortunate that people keep comparing Tomorrow to Ready Player One and putting them in the same bucket, just because they share a topic about gaming.
I loved both these books, but both for completely different reasons. (worth noting that i didn't enjoy RP2 at all though). RPO intrigued me with the online world building and the gamifying of the real world as well, where as Tomorrow was all about the people behing the games that are built and that we end up playing and their relationships, as well as the love they have for gaming.
RPO made me wonder what the future of gaming might look like and got me excited about it, and Tomorrow reminded me of my first days of being introduced to gaming by my cousin and how that flame that was ignited as a child still shines bright today!

Ouch, this was not a good read, sorry! The characters were behaving like children, the writing was really bad (way too many typos, em-dashes and unentertaining sentences). Also - considering this book featured Olympians that went on to win gold medals, their day to day life routine was not fit for Olympians at all, and I think the author should have known this. Who in their right mind eats lots of pizza and goes drinking during their qualis at the Olympics? I get it, they were in Italy, but this kind of lifestyle should happen after their competition. Normal athletes have strict diets and it was way too unbeliavable for me.

Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite of the book series! (As for the movies, I love Half Blood Prince the most, and the Philosopher's Stone). This is the only book where Voldemort doesn't appear at all, no wonder it's my favourite đ I love how the story dives deeper into Harryâs past. We get more lore.
Also, can we talk about Sirius Black? The way the book sets him up as this terrifying figure and then flips everything on its head is so good. And Lupin and his chocolate against the world! đI'm really glad Harry got to know two people who knew his parents. The Marauders Map was cherry on top đ©·
Ngl I love the movie version of this book too, but it was kinda botched, and had several missing pieces. But both are magical in their own ways âšâĄ

As I read about the outlandish things, I keep going back to the title: "None of This Is True." I can't help but wonder what it means. Can I take anything at face value? Is Josie making it all up? Is this all a lie? What's real? đ
