It was lovely to be caught up in the fond memories of the main character. Not much happened plot-wise but this worked so well for the fleeting nostalgia storytelling, and even then it felt like a lot had shifted by the end. The last few pages made me feel unexpectedly sad - I don’t think I’d realised how emotionally invested I’d become. A great representation of important and loved moments in your life that you can never have again in the same way.
