I just wanted to say thank you for everyone in this community being to sweet and fun to talk to! Even on bad days where I don't wanna touch social media, I'll still give PageBound a visit because it's consistently uplifting. I thought I'd found sweet communities before, but this one really takes the cake 🎂
I imagine similar posts have been made before to spread love to this community, but I just wanted to show my appreciation 💜

Hey y'all 👋🏻
It’s time for Who’s Who Wednesday where every Wednesday we introduce ourselves and make new friends. This is possibly part 19.
Jadelovesbooks originally started this. These were some of my favorite posts to read through so I'd like to bring it back if that's cool (or if these were ended on purpose, let me know and I'll remove this).
Feel free to introduce yourself, share some facts about you, an opinion you have, how your week is going, whatever you feel like sharing really.
I’ll go first.
My name is Wibbily. If I could live in any fictional world, I'd live in Pelican Town from Stardew Valley 🍃🌟

Okay this could be my OCD (most likely) but does anyone else ever organize the genres they read by season? And not like "oh holiday reads during December!" I like reading fantasy between Jan-April And I like reading horror or mythology retellings between like May-September And I enjoy cozy fantasy during fall! I don't know why, those are just when the vibes change and I start leaning into those genres more. Does this happen to anyone else?

This post was brought to you by the encouragement of @Loyaute (who started the "what's your avatar's name" post that got me thinking about this) and @makiki.
So, assuming that your avatar is you, or like your pet, what pet would you give it? A la Neopets' petpets heh. Have fun!
Since mine's a witch (no I don't have a name for her she is me, ish), naturally I need a witchy pet for her. My logic here is that I want something I'd least have a chance of getting irl so let's go with a snake! But not anything super intimidating or cool. I'm thinking a derpy hognose snake. Her name will be Rafflesia, aka the corpse flower.

I recently discovered immersive reading (consuming physical/digital books and audiobook simultaneously) and am in the process of trying it. So far so good, I think it allows me to connect more with the book and feel the characters. What are your thoughts on this method? And what's a good book to start with if I want to explore further?

Contrary to the post title, I would like to know who among us Pagebound readers have perfect eyesight. Consider this a survey. Who among us have won the lottery and have not eroded their vision with our passion for words, so gripping that we read on our backs in bed or in the dimness as evening falls?
I’d also like to hear from friends who have usual sight- or spectacle-related stories. I, for example, have near-sightedness but it’s SPECIAL. You see, one side is 3.25 and the other is… 8.75. This means one side of my glasses is thicc af and the other is okay. Some people do apparently notice this and comment on or ask about it.
Edit: Current observations - Most readers do have poor eyesight and those who don't have other issues or sight-/eye-related problems that nevertheless are disruptive despite having clear vision. It's not looking good for us.

I feel like my books are so unorganized and I don’t know how to organize them. I don’t know if I want my fantasy books first then my historical fiction books, or if I want to like color match them or have them in alphabetical order. How are y’all’s books organized?? I’m so taking ideas lol 😂

Mine is Haikyu! Just the way it's so beautifully written, with neither of the teams harboring any bad feelings for each other outside the court, the character developement and everything else makes it just perfect for me on the days I'm feeling down.
I'd love to know y'alls comfort reads and what makes them so in the comments!
