This was such an interesting read--a woman is stuck in a time loop, reliving the 18th of November. She tries to enlist her partner to help her get out of the time loop but eventually gives up as she feels the gap widen between the two of them, resorting to a solitary existence.
This book really made me stop and think and re-read bits of it and I could see myself re-reading this in the future. It poses so many questions, but the one that kept standing out to me as the central question posed was "what gives a life meaning?" Is it the relationships we have? Is it the things we can accomplish? And what happens when those things are gone? Is it the space we take up and the resources we consume? Is it the written record of our life and thoughts? Is it the places we've been or the things we've accumulated or the knowledge we've sought?
Not much happens plot-wise in this one, which doesn't usually appeal to me, but I found myself enjoying the experience of reading this one because of how much it made me stop to think. I know there are multiple sequels and I'm curious to know where the series will go next... and I'm also still not sure to what the title is referring! Maybe that's something I'd pick up on a re-read or maybe the explanation is yet to come. I will be reading on.
Read if you enjoy slow, contemplative, philosophical fiction with a splash of fantasy.

Four retired assassins join forces to seek revenge on those trying to hunt them down? What a fun premise. This was so easy to read, what with the fast-paced plotting and the fun banter. I would say that what this book lacked in character depth, it made up for in plot and humor. I liked the dual timelines with past and present, although the first person/third person split seemed unnecessarily jarring to me when jumping between the timelines. I had a lot of fun reading this one, though! It felt very cinematic (and I would definitely watch a movie adaptation of this).
Read if you like action-packed, funny stories about assassins.

Penny and Sam, brought together by chance and each dealing with their own familial issues, make a very sweet couple. I enjoyed this short and sweet coming-of-age romance. I think their relationship from friends/texting buddies to lovers was believable and I liked learning about their personalities through their personal histories with having to âparentâ their own parents. I think if it were a bit longer, we couldâve gotten more into their relationships with the other side characters a bit more, which would have been nice, but all in all this was a lovely romance between two very sympathetic characters.
Read if you like emotional YA romance.

Not for me; I may have enjoyed this as a child but as an adult it felt almost like a child had written it. Very expository and simplistic. Cute concept, though: children fall through a portal into a land of classic fairytales and have to find their way out.
Read if you like very simple chapter books and classic fairytales.

This was a very sweet romance. I liked that the cast of characters was very small; it left a lot of space for each one to be a well-defined person. I liked the relationships between the protagonist and her mother and step-parent; I felt like that was a nice reflection of the protagonistâs romance. I also liked the protagonistâs arc with her father and the comic collectionâthat was satisfying. I think the only thing that left me dissatisfied was the romance itself; Nick was a nice enough character but I do feel like their romance escalated a bit too quickly for me to really believe it. I would have liked a bit more scenes with just them two.
All in all, it was enjoyable and I like this authorâs writing. I really liked âYou, Againâ and I will continue to read her work.
Read if you like contemporary romance, likable protagonists and small core casts of characters, and funny dialogue.

I am pretty new to poetry but I saw this book in a bookstore a few years ago and one of the poems caught my eye so I've been meaning to check out this book for a long time, and I'm glad I did! Unnahar's poems are very accessible to someone unfamiliar with poetry and I found several that resonated with me.
Read if you like poetry written in simple language but that still has something to say.

Cute contemporary romance between two people who have recent experiences with grief. I will say, the character of Miles seemed a bit unrealistic in that he didn't seem to have any flaws except being a bit socially awkward around kids, and he was extremely protective of the protagonist from the second he met her, which felt a bit contrived. But the arc of Lenny processing her grief was moving and rewarding. The narrator was also very effusive, which worked well for the character of Lenny but did get a bit over-the-top at times.
Read if you like ultimately uplifting stories about grief and contemporary romance.
