So, I've read this book sooo many times already and I honestly don't know how to function and wait for the fourth book of the series. I love the Empyrean Series so much, i miss basically all of them. I read the books, bought the books, and listened to the audiobooks. Basically, I have a year long obsession that I don't know what to do with it. 😭 am I the only one?

My goals for the coming years.

Set reading apps goal to 1.
- This will help me prioritize quality over quantity. I don't want to have any pressure to meet a certain number.
No more specific reading challenge.
- No more monthly tbr, no 26 for 2026, no more genre or author challenge, no gamefication. I am and have always been a mood reader. It's about time I embrace it.
Writing thoughtful/ critical reviews.
- I hope this will help me develop good judgment and better my research ability.
Choose only 2 reading app to keep.
- As much as this hurts me, I need to delete some of my reading apps. I don't need 4+ reading trackers. I am not 100% sure now but I'm thinking to only keep GR and PB.
Use bookstagram like a journal dump
- I don't want to feel bad when I don't post on booksta. I don't want it to feel like a chore. I don't need to edit for hours for just one post. Just a simple picture is enough.
Reread old favourites.
- I am realizing I am getting in a reading slump more and more. Rereading will definitely help.
Use libby mindfully.
- Only put hold on books I 100% will read. When borrowing a book, choose the least lending period.
Bye bye yearly reading journal.
- I started making reading journals in 2021. Each and one of them are unfinished. If I am going to start a book journal it's only going to be for logging books I've read. Nothing more.
Buy books mindfully
- Only buy books I have loved before, or buy those I know I will 100% enjoy and keep.

I was inspired by the YouTuber carolynmariereads to make this goals, especially the 1 book goal.

I came to realize that i don’t have to keep up with new trends, challenges, readathons, games i keep seeing online. No need to have every shiny thing i see.

Even though half of my brain craves structure in my life, i know the other half will never follow it.

I know i just wrote this 9 book goals i have for the future, but my overall goal in life(at least for now) is to have no goal at all. Just go with the flow.
