Hey that cliffhanger ending is uncalled for🙃 Now I need to punch a wall because wdym I have to wait another six months for the sequel????

tldr; an arranged marriage between the king of death and a sickly human. They hash out their differences and he falls first.

The slow burn romance was annoyingly good. Usually I never have the patience for that but anything for a bird (shadow) daddy I guess kraa kraa🐦‍⬛

Sadly, the fantasy portion fell short. I was hoping for more gripping adventures. Yet it was constantly about the fmc traipsing through the labyrinth where she tries to win a ticket back to the living world. Then again, when you’re a sickly human, there’s not much adventuring you can do.

Nevertheless, the ending has got me hooked and I desperately need to know what happens next🥲😭🥲😭
