I have such mixed feelings until now. I'm very intrigued by the story but I find it hard to convince myself to open the book 🤷

I've seen this trend almost everywhere on booksta, so I thought I'd share it! What are the books you'd reread, rewrite, or burn? Here are mine:
📚 Reread: • The Jasad Crown - I loved this so so much and I'd reread it a hundred times if I could! • Blood Over Bright Haven - this was absolute perfection if you ask me. The themes, the writing, the characters, they were all amazing and I don't want or need to change anything about it.
🖊️ Rewrite: • Three Holidays and a Wedding - I loved the concept but there were so many inconsistencies that pulled me out of the story 😭 I think if this had better writing, I would've loved it much more!
🔥 Burn: • Powerless - the whole series. Sorry to all the Powerless lovers, this just wasn't for me. This book was marketed as enemies-to-lovers, but it felt more like flirting-rivals-to-lovers ngl 😭 the writing also bothered me and the extensive use of "ocean blue eyes," but that's just my opinion tho!

I loved When Among Crows, so I'm not surprised that this book hooked me so hard. It has Slavic folklore, a morally (dark) gray religious order, heist elements, and more blood & found family tension than a novella should be able to contain. Veronica Roth made me cheer, grimace, or sigh with affection for the characters she created. My eyes were wet and stinging more than once. I love this series so much!
A quote that lingers in my mind as I'm still digesting this absolute treat of a book:
"If love doesn't allow change, then what the fuck is that love worth?"
