The last year I’ve wanted to read more classics. But I have no idea where to start.
I always struggle with getting locked in with the books, mostly because I only read in English (not my first language) and hate reading in my own language.
However I have decided to give the classics another chance. I would love to know what classics you guys recommend.
There are a few classics I own; • The Great Gatsby • Romeo & Juliet • Alice in Wonderland (have dnf’ed this twice already🙃) • Dracula • Little Women • Sense & Sensibilty • Wuthering Heights
I usually read light fantasy, romance or thrillers. I’m also open to classics not in this list :)
If you’ve read classics before, what books are easy to get into? What would you recommend to someone who has English as a second language?
I would love your recommendations 🩷

Thrillers that actually have different plots 😅
If you’re here, like me you might be tired of basically seeing the same plots and storylines over and over. This is a list of ones I’ve enjoyed that are all (mostly) different from each other*. Main thing in common might be the author.
*Can’t guarantee there aren’t similar types of twists/reveals lol.

Hello community, I have a question for the disabled people. I have a chronic illness and I'm struggling to read these last days. How do you manage to read when you have a flare up? Mostly when it comes with brain fog and pain?
