Nothing like reading a miserable female protagonistâs life falling apart while in my own off-kilter phase so I can feel a bit more put together.
also never been so called out for having a trust issues like i can relate to her lol

Holy. Shit. This book kept me guessing all the way through the end. Happy to say it is a thriller book that is worth 4 stars, easily.
I wasnât sure about it at the first few chapters (hence why it took me so long to finished) but i get it. This book got me hooked after halfway through the story. it is tricky with thriller, but i really love the plot nonetheless. Canât wait to read more of her books.

I finally get the hype. It genuinely makes me wanna read more classics. They may be old as hell, but they never get old.
The Picture of Dorian Gray talks about beauty, youth, greed, corruption, and even morality. How dangerous it is to live without moral responsibility.
Lord Henry, known for his endless yaps with his witty âtruthsâ, even though heâs annoying, I caught myself thinking, âWhy is he lowkey right?â And for that, I think, is exactly why heâs dangerous.
Watching Dorian turned sin into something aesthetic is disturbing and fascinating at the same time. Wilde never presents Dorian as a simple villain. He wants to live fully, intensely, and beautifully. But without a moral center, that desire turns destructive; plus him listening to Lord Henryâs yaps that slowly shaped Dorian into someone who cares more about image than morality.
ââwondering sometimes which were more horrible, the signs of sin or the signs of ageâ
This was a dark, thought-provoking read that I truly enjoyed.

this is the type of book that needs time to process. I couldnât even think of what to say at first.
Itâs a love story, but not an ordinary love story. Itâs complicated, sometimes messy, painful yet beautiful, just like a real human relationship, yes, i guess thatâs how you can put it. Itâs about friendships, connection, loyalty, and choosing each other again even when it gets hard. I freaking wept my heart out with this book, but neverthelessâ
I really loved my time reading this. the type of book where I wish I can read this book for the first time again.
