'Finally' I love these two. Hope they grow closer, don't need them to be romantic. They would even be amazing best friends, but they both are just ready to set the world on fire. They give no fucks. Burn it all down.

Sequel to Raybearer. I love this fantasy world. It is so rich and Ifueko's writing style wonderfully makes everything come to life. And if you enjoy audiobooks that is the way to go for this one. The narrator does an excellent job. There was a lot more political intrigue in this one, which made it a bit harder for me to get through. The ending to this duology was extremely satisfying. Highly recommend!

"because..... she came here with me" I love you so much Peeta, you are insanely smart and manipulative. Katniss is so oblivious here because she doesn't know and is scared to trust anything. Partly because she's had to care for her sister and mom since her dead died, so she can't have more people count on her, but also because she is deeply caring and won't risk losing another person that's close to her. It's just self-preservation. I sometimes wish we could have a Peeta pov, because I want to know the moment he truly fell for her, and when he knew it.

I'm gonna enjoy rereading this. I think this is the 3rd time? Can't remember. *I volunteer as tribute* still got chills Peeta burning and throwing the bread. Precious.
