This aches so beautifully, of feeling love so much it hurts in the most glorious, delicious way. Their love is just so... filling, in the sense that, even just reading of it, it fills the reader.

I didn't plan to get pulled into the center of Morgan's criminal tempest, but maybe a tempest is where the Currents needed me to be. I could help my friends and Río, and if it meant shipwrecking whatever was left of my heart on the Menagerie stage, then so be it.

Yes, Benny! Please!! Río cannot be kept and I wish it hadn't taken Río having to explain that he is literally dying to make Benny realize that 🫠 I think Benny's desperation to keep Río with him is understandable, but it is frustrating. We seem to be getting past it though, I'm hoping for the best for them!
