Held by the Bratva (London Mafia Bosses, #8)
Evie Rose
“Who hurt you?” For three years, I’ve been daydreaming excuses to get my gorgeous, older, mysterious neighbor into my apartment. I was thinking of a burst pipe, small cooking fire, dress that I can't zip up, or a massive sign that said “I adore you, please take my V-card”. I didn’t think he’d invite himself in to save me. Mafia thugs came looking for my parents, and money. Hours later, I’m cowering in my wardrobe, still shaking, covered in bruises and dried unthinkable liquids, when soft footsteps echo through my apartment. My neighbor opens the door and stares down at me, rage curling his lip. “Who hurt you?” Before I know it, he’s scooped me up into his arms and taken me to his penthouse. He won’t let me go, and smiles cynically when I protest he shouldn’t put himself at risk from the mafia. And I’m beginning to wonder… Who is the most dangerous predator here? Held by the Bratva is a sweet and spicy age gap instalove romance with a jealous and possessive billionaire mafia boss and the college girl he’s been stalking.

An Alpha’s Guide to Finding the One (Packed Up at Harbor U #2)
Hallie Grace
He’s hot, she’s mean, and together they have some wicked chemistry. Everyone leaves, and nobody understands that more than the grumpy injured pitcher and the cupcake queen with the weight of the world on her shoulders. She swore off relationships until the end of time. He vowed to never let anyone in again. A tentative agreement involving casual hate-fueled-hookups? It seemed like the perfect game. But what happens when the touches turn tender, the looks linger a little too long, and they start to realize maybe the line between hate and love is so much thinner than either of them could have predicted? Will their casual arrangement really be as great as it sounds on paper? Or will their perfect game leave them with a pair of broken hearts?

Thank you to Suzanne Rindell and her team for this ARC!
I was so intrigued by the premise of this book from the moment I read the blurb: an author FMC who has written a love story inspired by her own past, only to then have to interact with the man himself. I was immediately sold!
The story spans several years of Jonah’s life, from her university days to the present, but it was easy to follow, and I loved how each chapter revealed more about our two main characters and their history.
Jonah Kelly is a likeable FMC. She’s flawed, a little worried, wonderfully human, and has a slightly clumsy personality that makes her even more endearing. Jake, our MMC, is introduced as a little grumpy and distant, and I have to admit I was not too impressed with his behaviour at certain points...But in the end, I could also see the love there between them
The book is filled with gorgeous imagery of their travels together, plenty of yearning, humour, and, of course, a whole lot of romance. I loved watching their relationship unfold across the years and seeing how their past and present intertwined.

Based on a Love Story
Suzanne Rindell
From the author of Summer Fridays, a swoony second-chance love story following a struggling author whose fresh start in a new city is interrupted when she’s reunited with the ex who inspired her bestselling novel Jonah Kelly’s debut novel is a hit love story. The problem is, she might have been thinking about a certain someone from her past, and the time they crossed paths backpacking in Europe, when she wrote it. Now, Jonah’s in a rut—living in New York but avoiding all the publishing parties (really avoiding someone at those parties) and feeling stuck on her next book. When her best friend invites her to move to San Francisco, Jonah decides to go. At first, it seems like Jonah’s new chapter is coming together new city, new love interest, words finally filling the page. But when a big-time magazine asks to do a feature on her, the reporter they send to interview her is none other than Jake, the ghost from her past. As part of the interview, Jonah must spend three days visiting the most romantic spots in San Francisco, while being flooded by memories of a long-ago summer in Oxford, Paris, and Greece. Adding to that tension is the fact that Jake clearly suspects he’s the inspiration for her great love story—and is on a mission to get Jonah to admit it. She’s tempted to let her guard down . . . but what if her feelings are not only in the past but in the present?

What We Bury (Hangmen Trilogy #1)
Eve Riche
She didn’t need a hero. She needed five psychos with a rope. I wanted to disappear. Instead, I became their favorite obsession. New town. New name. Same old monsters. I thought slinging pie at a sleepy coastal diner would buy me safety. I was wrong. When a local predator dragged me under the jetty, my body did what it always does - it went to stone. I froze, waiting for the nightmare to be over. But the nightmare never started. Five masked men stepped out of the shadows and strung him up by the throat. They call themselves the Hangmen—a secret brotherhood of beautiful, broken vigilantes who bury the monsters the courts let walk free. They came for him. But I’m the one who finished the job. I took their knife and painted the sand red. Now I’ve seen their faces, I’ve shared their bloodlust, and they refuse to let me out of their sight. I keep waiting for someone to make me choose. But these greedy bastards look at me and see ‘group activity’. So, I guess I don’t have to…? Eli plans hangings like lesson plans and teaches kindergarten in between. He's also working very hard not to want me. Micah pours the drinks, reads the room, and calls me baby girl like it's a vow. Holden's the cop who can't stop investigating the one woman he wants to keep. Milo's a hacker with no filter, no boundaries, and a body count he won't stop joking about. And Knox doesn't say much. He just put a knife in my hand and himself between me and the world. But someone's still watching the new girl. The night I find a noose hanging from my ceiling and a note that says you're next, I learn the men who kill for a living might be the safest people in town. Some secrets stay buried. Mine have risen from the grave. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What We Bury is book one of the Hangmen Trilogy and ends on a cliffhanger. It's dark contemporary why-choose romance—meaning she doesn't pick. She keeps all five. You can expect: Five morally grey masked vigilante heroes A trauma survivor with a knife and a grudge Found family with a body count A members-only club and serious spice Bi-awakening + crossing swords Black comedy in the bloodbath Slow-burn menace hiding in plain sight No cheating, no OWD Ends on a cliffhanger 18+ Please check the trigger warnings before diving in.
