I donât knooooow, I feel like this book is dragging for me. /: I keeping feeling like nothing of true significance has happened and no real progression has been made for any of the characters. Things are getting a bit repetitive. I also just have no idea what direction the plot is taking bc I feel like the differing timelines are so different tonally that it makes it feel like Iâm reading two different books?
So far I have preferred Sabineâs POVs a bit more despite not feeling like sheâs undergone much development over the last couple hundred years. I have seen a lot of people on here say that Aliceâs POVs begin to pick up from here on out, so Iâm hoping thatâs the case, especially since weâre past the halfway point. đĽ˛

I just had the insanely jarring realization that honeymoons are a thing and I completely forgot about them when I set my username. Iâve always used â golden moonâ something as gaming usernames and just thought honey moon was a cute variation đŤ
This made me start wondering if I was similarly misreading anyone elseâs usernames and what some of them meant. So while I think of a new username, I wanted to ask everyone whatâs the story behind your username? đ
Edit: The rebrand has been done đ

Though I'm not 5, just so you know..
I tried to read this and take it in and nod and be like, yeah, I totally understand this paragraph. But I don't even when I translated it to my native tongue my head was like:

Please I can't comprehend it, tell me what Quinn means with this.
"Funny how heâd never seen all those other women as a sin. He still didnât. Theyâd all been willing, of course; you couldnât seduce an unwilling woman, at least not if you took seduction at the true sense of the word and took care not to confuse it with rape. They had to actually want it, and if they didnâtâif Michael sensed even a hint of unease, he turned and walked away. His passions were never so out of control that he couldnât manage a quick and decisive departure."
