I really loved this book. When it started out very slow and political, I was worried that it would leave me feeling like Arden's previous series, which I didn't love as much. This, however was a delight.
Anne of Brittany is such a wonderful character to explore this rich and complex world through. The idea of the Lost Lands and the method of sorcery in this book was so unique. I simply loved the way they used light. Once Julien was introduced as a character, this book and its magic pulled me in and didn't let go.
I also really enjoyed the romance, contrary to others, but I felt it overshadowed the plot in the second half of the book. Anne's story in this book is so much bigger than finding love or a husband. It's about securing her own sovereignty in a crumbling kingdom now flooded with the lost art of magic. I felt we lost some of that when her focus turned to Louis as a romantic partner. In the end, I am really glad he was largely absent from the last 10% of this book because it would have further impacted my rating.
Thank you to Netgalley and Del Rey for a copy of this book :)

If you can get past the "her boobs boobed boobily" of it all, the book isn't half bad.

I don't typically love cozy fantasies, but the description of this book pulled me into its orbit. I am SO GLAD it did. From the first chapter, I was hooked by the wit and charm of the full cast of characters. Autumn does an excellent job of portraying community in the wake of tragedy. I adored the love and care provided by the cast to our main character, Oaklin. I have few words for this interview, but it was absolutely beautiful. I look forward to sinking into this comfort read over and over again.
My only complaint is not knowing the final name of the farm. I may have missed it, but I would have loved to know it.

The Library of Memories is a colorful children's graphic novel full of wonder and whimsy. While I loved the color scheme and the characters, the pacing felt off to me, particularly in the beginning. This book was a confusing jump in that left me disoriented as a reader for the first several pages. RM is still a confusing concept for me. I think that, in graphic novels, there is less of a need or desire to explain concepts because we can see some of them. Unfortunately, I felt this needed a bit more exposition. I also was a bit unclear why Copenhagen was at the library in search of her memories to begin with. I would have loved some earlier insight into that.
I did love the page turn by the character about a quarter of the way through. I thought that was so fun and creative!
