I had never seen the physical copy of the book. I had even considered reading it on my kindle, not thinking much about it until someone yesterday said that it was like an ikea type book. I don’t know what they meant until I went to the library and saw it in all its glory. Definitely a book to read physically, as sadly an ereader couldn’t compete.

Holy mother of God, now I understand why the TW. All the scene in the house was unsettling, gross and felt my uterus shiver.
But I'm addicted to the book. The writer is so good.

just as good as the manga !! I loved the deeper insight into what the characters were thinking, especially Yoshiki. The smaller add ons were worth the read as a fan of the series. I feel like I now understand Yoshiki’s character better in a way a book can have more time to expand on.

For anyone who has read Horrorstör by Grady Hendrix, I think Stranger Pictures will also be something you'd like to read. Maybe it's all the pictures you use to try to solve things, but so far, I'm liking this story. Thanks to anyone who reads my little rants, and I hope your book adventure is going as fun as mine.

I already read some of the manga and thought this would be one of those books where every chapter is a new, different story. Although it's not, the differences and deeper insights into what Yoshiki is thinking are making it worth it.

idk what's going on, but I am curious to keep reading. The writing style is surprisingly really easy to follow and /very/ addicting. I'm going into this blind, so let's see how it goes!

i’m ngl the mentions of how much damn money they make is taking me out of the story a little. i truly believe that athletes do not deserve to be millionaires when teachers and doctors and nurses make about 50k a year.
like you’re an adult playing a GAME that doesn’t do much but perpetuate toxic masculinity. be so fucking for real with me rn why do you deserve millions when i have a masters degree and a good job and can barely pay my rent huh ??? correct you don’t NEXT
