What are your favorite books about and with (good) witches? I am looking for nice witch adventure stories, not history books about witch hunts or romances. History can be involved, even politics and especially feminism if the books are a good read.

"The Bear and the Nightingale" for example was a nice mix for me. There was a bit romance and a bit history involved, but it was still a fantasy adventure trilogy.

"The Little Witch" by Otfried Preußler was another nice story about a nice witch.
