This book felt very comforting to read, like a hug. The scenery was familiar and I wanted to go to Wattle Junction every page. I loved the characters and the way they engaged. The back and forth between the FMC and MMC was funny and interesting. I loved getting to know other community members through the story and learning more about Wattle Junction. I really enjoyed the story and could not put it down!
Alice is a social media/reality TV star running from a bad marriage to a cheating rockstar. Owen is a Wattle Junction local returning from the big city to set up a life and law firm. The small town and peaceful surrounds of Wattle Junction bring them together.

This book really surprised me. I was not expecting the subtle but undeniable social commentary intertwined throughout. However, it was brilliantly done. I really engaged with the girls and their story and found myself thinking deeply about what we do to each other. The characters felt very multidimensional and complex with real problems and hopes and dreams. I enjoyed the magic element. The writing was easy to read but I found the description of setting vibrant and well detailed. This is a very good story and I will be recommending it forever!

A very sweet and quick novella to get me started with this series. I enjoyed the way this story had me giggling one minute and then nearly in tears the next. I connected strongly with the characters and really enjoyed every minute of this book. It was short and sweet.
