It’s been a few days since I finished the book and still find myself thinking about the end of the book and everything it meant… food for thoughts

Glad I am already vegan 🫣 And also I am really not shocked about people starting to eat people, if you are arguing with people all the time about not wanting to hurt animals, you kinda already heard every possible argument for meat consumption 🥲

I just started listening on Spotify to see if I want to buy the books. I am intrigued. Who loves this series? What do you like? Characters? Writing style?

Already off to a much better start with this one. So far no major bullying and that’s a win in my book.

I can’t stand it. Constantly over describing food, and the setting. Author must be obsessed with the color blue and tomatoes. There’s a lot of repetition too, like when the cloud bears appear she spends so much time describing how misty they are etc, and then goes, “the bear wafted over, like a cloud” or something like that. And that was the last straw for me.
I was vibing with the cozy atmosphere for a while but it ended up way too flowery and descriptive for literally every single thing, even the wonderful graphite pencils.
Also, even though she escaped this violent attack in the beginning, everything else perfectly goes her way and is so easy. This is my first “cozy” read and maybe it’s just not for me?

Ok I was surprised by this one! I love the concept and the execution of this story. It was spicy and cutesy and exactly the kind of rom com Christmas story I love. It was spicy though so if that's not your jam, give it a miss.
Bee Hobbes (aka Bianca Von Honey) is a plus sized adult film star. She is cast in the lead role of a hallmark style holiday movie. The studio for the Christmas film is squeaky clean and they don't know about her other film persona. It's a great quick read!
