This book is about a woman called Natalie who is a social media influencer being a “tradwife” living on a farm and the one day she actually wakes up in the 1800s. She then goes through the motions of figuring out what’s happening is she on a TV show? Has she time travelled? What is going on. I usually love a bitch for an FMC it’s my fave trope but this one I’m not really a fan of. It’s was a little extreme and unrealistic. I also didn’t really enjoy the ending, I feel like there was so many plot holes and the author failed to answer all my questions with her ending I was left wanting more of an explanation. The pacing was uneven it was very front and back heavy where literally everything happened it seemed like it was a whole book filled with filler and unnecessary scenes. All in all, I was entertained, wasn’t my favourite tho

This book is basically about a girl called Mina that starts getting tutored by a being that’s not entirely human called Harker, is all I’m going to say to not give out any spoilers. The writing was alright, nothing special nothing I could make a movie out in my head. I actually was really excited about reading a fantasy getting immersed in the world but the magic system was confusing a bit and I couldn’t fully grasp what the author was trying to do. I also found it quite petty and very teenage angsty which I’m not really a fan on YA so I don’t know why I thought this one might be different. The read was a bit of a drag to be honest. I found the characters 2 dimensional and unmemorable. The pacing was uneven and back heavy. That’s all I have to add.

This book is about a woman who’s living in a shared house growing mould, with a hole on the floor while her best friend is buying a house and her battle with being 30 with no permanent job, house or kids. It was okay I honestly did have my expectations set pretty high so that could have been my fault. It was pretty average in terms of writing, story, plotting. Nothing much to say really.

This story is about a diviner called “six” who gets entangled with a knight while looking for missing diviners. I think it was fine. Just a regular romantasy, I actually thought I’d LOVE it and I was waiting to read it at a special time, like I was saving it for a special day because that’s how much I knew I’d love it but I was completely let down, maybe my expectations were too high but I think the book is completely over rated, I found it boring at points and didn’t find it to be doing anything new or exciting in the genre. Doesn’t mean it was bad but personally I could have gone without reading it.
