i hate that i'm having so much fun with this... you either die without getting into one piece or live long enough to see yourself pick up a volume. i found myself giggling at the masseur joke..

i always swore that i would never get into one piece because of the length of the anime... and here i am. honestly, i blame the live action. i was entertained and i wanted to continue. but, i feel like i can catch up to the manga faster than i can with the anime and in my head it's shorter so that's how im justifying this LOL!

this was not at all what i expected, and i mean that in the most positive way possible. i feel so fucking bad for what they've been through since they were kids. i was expecting more of a positive viewpoint of their lives with their careers, and i was so shocked to hear all of the small (and major) identities that came with each con... on top of that, the different relationships their parents would choose for rocky and pheobe to portray. IM LITERALLY SO SICK! i will admit i did not see the plot twist coming until it happened, i was fully gagged. i'll admit i knew the ending was going to happen at some point, but i wasn't expecting it to be in book one, so i'm so fcking scared to start the next book because i have no idea how this is gonna play out.

i have absolutely no patience to wait until 2029 for the anime to be finished so i’m taking it into my own hands and buddy reading the series w/ my sister LOL
