i loved the rep in this!! there was a little bit of everything in this and i absolutely loved that. the plot reminded me of the kdrama my dearest nemesis and its was gravitated me to this book! it just wasnât rly memorable for me and felt very ya at times and it just took me out of the story at times.
this had potential to be more but it lacked in different areas for me :( i got in a bit of a slump while reading this and i do think that affected my reading experience.
thank you st. martinâs press and netgalley for the arc.

there was like no depth to their relationship until like the âthird act breakupâ that wasnât even a break up bc they werenât even together. like i genuinely did not care that they had a fight and stopped fucking.. it finally got interesting when her brother got added into the mix (mind you that was like 60%+ into the book) also the plot line w her parents was badly written and felt forced? it felt so oddly placed and was wrapped better than it was introduced.

omg i knew from the beginning i was going to eat this up and i was right!!! this is such a perfect fall read imo. this felt like found family-ish at times because of how well the hotel guests got along with each other and shared their own opinions towards each other's issues. so much pain and healing within the same couple of pages, and it was written so well. nearly every, if not all, character(s) in this book go through some healing, whether it be from something big or something minor, they need to move on from. it was rly nice to see all of the characters be able to have each other as a support beam in their journey of healing. also!!! henry was THE mmc of my dreams, a true acts of service king.
thank you berkley and netgalley for the arc! :)
