this was raw and beautiful, and so nostalgic in a sombre tone. it felt like magic and childhood, and all the short fairytales I watched and read as a child. it was the embodiment of sparkles to me. I loved every second, every word, I connected to every syllable and sound with such deep meaning. this book was perfect, and the message of love causing pain metaphorically was so well written in so few words

they're short but they have personality
the books I read if I'm wanting something short. From horror, to classics, to confusing stories I had to think twice about. you name the genre I'll eventually have it here (all ≈80 pages and under)

why choose books I didn't want to burn
I dnf so many why choose books from lack of grammar, literacy, plot and often way too much sex. so here is an extensive list of ones I didn't, to help you get around the pesky reviews of people who go on spice level and nothing else.

I've only been reading this for a couple hours and I have to admit it already feels like a chore. these chapters feel as though they are an embodiment of "just wait" as the characters keep saying that something is changing and going to happen. the information being given is not being fed at all it's like bullet points and it's just being thrown at my face. I do not need an instruction booklet on each character's powers.
I also can't get this out of my mind that every two seconds I'm reminded of Harry potter, I'm not that far in but it's just giving that. (edit: people are saying it's like a harry potter fanfiction now that I look at the reviews 😭)
this book is just not hooking me in and I can't be bothered to read a book that doesn't make me happy when I read it and I'm just there as I feel as though it has "potential"
