If you’re wanting to read the book before the movie releases, I highly, highly recommend to not watch the Project Hail Mary movie trailer. It reveals way too much. In the book, things are revealed slowly and with great suspense. The trailer will spoil everything.
I definitely recommend you read the book! Listening to the audiobook is great as well.

It’s so wild how much I remember liking Rose when I read this when I was younger. But now, reading it makes me think she was a mean girl. At least at this part of the story. The way she thinks about Natalie and Christian, how she was just intentionally vile to Aaron’s girlfriend (even though it was a little warranted, doesn’t mean she had to be that cruel and comment on her body), also the animal cruelty…is so bad. Like what? 😳
