What the fuck.
This book was crazy and wild from start to finish. I literally could not put it down and read it in 4 hours. The characters were so well done. I thought I had figured it out within the first 20 chapters. I was shocked when I kept reading and reading. Loved this book though sometimes the writing annoyed me but still a great book!
There’s definitely some things I would change about the book. For example the writing style irritated me sometimes, there were some plot holes and I didn’t love the ending but still worth a read.

So many things to unpack.
They’ve broken into a house, eaten sandwiches, had sex, drunk wine and now about to shower? Odd
Adrienne Hale is a crazy women, recording people without their consent, refusing to be nice to anyone. I know you don’t have to like your patients and people you work with but jeez.
Ethan is a walking red flag.
Tricia is odd.
Interested to see how the rest of the book turns out.

i feel like i know way too much about the narrator already. i feel like these types of stories usually work better when you don't really know that much about the narrator, and get fed bits about them as the story progresses and you gradually realise why they are a relevant factor in this story, but maybe that's just me.
i'm just so bored of him already

This book was not it for me. Belly is the most insufferable character in the entire series. I really disliked her the entire time. A lot of the POV’s from other people felt unnecessary and didn’t add anything to the story. The timeline jumped the entire time and everything progressed way too quickly. This just wasn’t it for me.

A collection of the pilot books for popular series, for those of us who love to follow a character's journey for as long as an author will let us! Some of the below series have heavily debated starting points and book read orders--in those cases the pilot was selected based on what seems to be the most popular approach.
