Despite how I rarely dislike a book, this will not be a good review. I genuinely don't even really have words for this book, unfortunately. I wanted to love this so badly, and I usually love writing long reviews, even when rating a book 1 star. But with this, I just didn't have ANY feelings towards it. Not love or hatred, just... meh. I really should've DNFd, because I was just beyond bored. The only character I found vaguely interesting was Jem, but despite being part of a love triangle we barely got any of him. It was just Will, Will, Will. I disliked Will, thought he was a piece of shit, I do not care how badly you're hurting, don't treat her like that. People literally died in the end of this book, there was a huge betrayal, but I didn't get vaguely emotional. That is so incredibly rare for me. If I continue this series, it won't be for a long time, and it'll just be to know if some of these characters get what they're owed. If a story can't even get me emotional, despite my dislike or like, then I don't think it's worth my time. I know this is very well loved, but it just was not for me.
