This felt all over the place. Very much hallmark movie vibes. I did like the inclusion of all the different traditions though

This was really fun! Picked this up as a light read, but loved the way the topics of grief and death were tackled. Overall, I enjoyed it and a had a fun time

This was really fun! I haven't read anything middle grade for a long time, and this was very pleasant. I really enjoyed all the characters and they kept me engaged throughout the story. It also touches on important topics like propaganda and discrimination in a very digestible way for young readers to understand. Overall, a fun time and a cozy magical read
