I enjoyed this book, the ending was great, but I wasn't obsessed with it. I think the overall plot and world building was the main strength that really kept me going, as the characters themselves felt a bit flat to me. Even though we went through all this with each character, I couldn't honestly tell you anyone's personality, which was the main draw back for me.

I'm so conflicted on my rating for this, because objectively I can see this is a very well written book, and I love the overall message and themes, but I also really had to force myself to read it. I wasn't dying to dive back into it, and I'm not sure if it's because I didn't really love the main characters or if this was just a little bit too literary for me.

This was cute! I also really appreciated how it delved into the downsides of being a famous author (or related to a famous author). It was nice that Ciera and Sam were both flawed in a more grounded way, and they were just so cute together. I just hope that Austen guy is eating his negative words and I wish we could have seen him getting some sort of karmic retribution.
