It’s the 1st of the month, so you know what that means:
What was your November: • favourite books: • least favourite books: • total books read:
For December/end of the year: • What are you planning to read ? • Are there any books releasing you're interested in? • do you have a reading goal for the month?

Sarah talks about not knowing what the fandom was like before 2008, and how the media described the fans as feral when everything popped off when the movies came out.
It was so surreal for me, in 2005 I went into the book store, browsing the books (duh) and on a with a bunch of other randomly assorted books is this one with the hands holding the apple. no one knew what twilight was, no one recommended it, and it certainly didn’t say international best seller on the cover. And me being me, I picked this book up solely based on its cover.
and it paid off, as a young girl I was enamoured by the story and the characters. I don’t know what magic powder meyer put in the words but they got me.
It was the first time I then waited for a release of a sequel. I remember asking all my friends to read this book, that they would love it (but they said it didn’t sound interesting, only for 2008 to roll around and they’re all engrossed because of its rising popularity 😉) so for many years, this book was a very personal book, a hidden gem no one else knew about.

If you could make your own Pagebound quest, what would it be called?
you can include books you’d add to it if you like also!
Mine would be, “did I finish the quest, or did the quest finish me?”
Books with maximum emotional damage 🥹
