i love how r.f. kuang's book mostly tackles colonization. she did it with the poppy war and she did it with babel too, but it doesnt fall to the same plot and premise. there's always something more to show. and i'm always gonna read anything from her as she's the only author that entertains me the same that it makes me curious to learn beyond just what her book is. :">
