Very, very well written (articulate!). Each sentence, word, concept was delivered with evidentiary care and intellect. Rachel shares about a world of truth in being Deaf, navigating different aspects of a hearing-spoken-auditorial centric world as a person who thrives with sign language and visual clues of the world. Any one person will feel as though they understand the experiences of Deaf people if they read Articulate. It's a story for learning and introspection, so be prepared for that with this kind of read.
Rachel, you're a total rock star. Thank you.

I picked this book up, sensing that it would be an easy read of a fictional story with a bit of tragic drama. The ending wasn't gratifying, but the story did a pretty decent job at that. In-depth stories about each of the characters helped build relationships between reader and character. The story wove together easily. Would I recommend it to others? I'd first ask, "Do you want to chill and escape other thoughts for a bit?" This one will do.
