Kennedy's the best to ever do it. Reel and Score are cemented as some of my favorite books of all time. A stunning series on the Harlem Renaissance and the hidden figures lost to time, as well as stories about women overcoming chronic battles and achieving their dreams.
Score is an important novel. It's a novel everyone should read. My recommendation transcends genre preference; I truly believe it's a book that everyone can and should read.
Score gives the reader an inside look into what it's like having bipolar disorder, as well as being someone close to someone with bipolar. Kennedy is such a talented writer in that she can depict her characters so vividly, I think I could meet them on the street. These could be real people, out there making movies and scoring them. She can also make these manic episodes feel like they're happening right in front of you. She was also able to bring so much hope for Verity and Monk when it came to living with Verity's bipolar, and making peace with it. I shed some tears for their original unfortunate predicament, but I shed even more happy tears when they come back together.
Kennedy Ryan is my favorite romance author of all time. I've loved every single book I've read of hers, and Score may be her best yet! She's the best in the game, and this Harlem Renaissance series is her most triumphant project to date. I can't wait to see what she has in store for book 3 and what lies ahead for this masterful series.

Being cooped up can make you crazy, I guess. Some people find hobbies, other people stalk homeowners about to sell their houses. Then find ways to blackmail them into selling it to them. Quarantine does that to a person.
This was so fun and so twisty. Being in Margot’s head was a trip, and she is definitely not okay😅 This was an amazing thriller, and I haven’t been this invested since Gone Girl😭

Brooke! Her comedic writing style was pure genius. I could listen to her talk all day, and I could read ten of her books. I had such a fun time! (That plot twist was crazy!)
