âDeath changes us and we cannot function in the world the same way we once did.â
I am not the same person I once was before losing my person and thereâs so many things that happen as you process life without them. I wish I had found this book earlier in my grieving journey to explain all the things I was (and still am) going through. I think this would greatly benefit friends and family supporting those who are grieving. It was written with compassion and was easy for my non-scientific brain to understand.

iâm finding this a very easy read so far, i love when a book has small chapters because i just seem to end up reading so much more than i anticipate
i know a couple of people who have read this who rated it pretty low and i see many have rated it highly, so i do wonder how i will end up feeling about it
