I really appreciate this book but so far am feeling like it could have been condensed much more than it is. While this book is very stats heavy and that’s great, I’m not sure this level of detail is necessary for current readers. I really want to finish it, though, and I might change my mind as I keep reading.

    Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

Great book with actually meaningful takeaways that are (relatively) easy to apply to your day-to-day life. I research appearance/body image and still found this book really insightful and informative even though I think it would be best for the general public, as it's very entry-level. Definitely read this if you want a realistic approach to fighting beauty sickness in your life and the lives of others beyond "everyone is beautiful."
