Are we bigger fans of the miniseries or the film? At first I loved the film but I recently watched the miniseries and I realised how much they nailed the humour and characterisation. Now I fear the film slightly pales in comparison- itâs still enjoyable and has many merits but the miniseries is far more faithful whereas the film imo is trying harder to pander to what they think modern audiences want by leaning into the yearning and the romance. Lmk your thoughts.
