I feel like I’m missing something here, because why are we hiking for hours just to get to the staff residence?

    How big is this island?

Why do the staff live in the middle of the jungle? And far away from literally everything else?

Spell-binding and tantalizing, The Mad Sisters of Esi was an effervescent journey through time, sisterhood, and the bonds that connect us to our loved ones and our humanness, no matter the distance. I was swept up and away with the characters, world, and plot, if my rating doesn’t serve as an indicator. All in all, this truly was such a whimsical, colorful and eloquent book where the prose feels as if it’s been constructed from filaments of pure, unfiltered alchemy. This is definitely appropriately hyped as a Pagebound darling!
