Hi everyone! I am so, so excited to finally share with you a little (unofficial) PB-related something I’ve been slowly working on for the past couple of weeks. And by slowly, I mean it took me… oh, I don’t know, maybe 20 hours total to do? Maybe more?

When I was scrolling through quests a little bit ago, I began to notice a pattern of certain books showing up multiple times. Which got me thinking: what percent of books show up in more than one quest? Which books are in the most quests? The one I was most intrigued about was What quest combinations show up the most?

The answers? 13.7%, Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil, Interview with the Vampire, Dune, and What Moves the Dead. The third is actually a tie at 13, between Epic Sci-Fi and Fantasy Series & Iconic Series, and Fantasy and Sci-Fi with a Side of Romance & Iconic Series. This didn’t really surprise me, since I was noticing a lot of overlap between these categories when I was clicking through making this.

What’s this, you may ask? Well, I’m a bit of a data nerd. I’m also a bit of a Google Sheets nerd (it can do more than it looks, okay!) This is the Unofficial Pagebound Quest Tracker, made up of over 2,000 books, 77 different quests (and counting!), and endless possibilities to maximize your quest output :) You can search the quest you’re working on to see what else is available, search for a specific book to see which quests it’s in/if any of the categories interest you, and—if you’re like me and you like a free-for-all—the number of quests is sorted from greatest to least to easily see which books have the most quests!

Just to reiterate, this is completely unofficial and just a silly little side project made by a silly little bored woman who really, really loves it here on Pagebound. Hence, there are probably some imperfections here or there, so if you spot something off, please please please let me know and I will fix it ASAP! I will be updating this sheet every Monday with any new additions, unless they turn out to update less than I'm expecting, in which case it’ll probably end up being once a month.

Whether you’re like me and you’re a total stats nerd, or just curious about which books Contributors seem to love adding to their quests (no shade! I'm loving the overlap as a badge girlie) I hope this ends up being an incredible and useful tool for you!

A little P.S: If the font isn’t readable, if the spacing looks weird, if you have any feedback of that sort, then please do say so and I will try to find something that works for everyone!

On that note, if you have any suggestions about something new to add, also say something and I will see if it is something that can be done! I was thinking about making a personal quest tracker for badge levels and such, which should be a bit easier now that I’ve gotten all of the titles and quests down, but it might be a bit before I feel up to undertaking another project like that again 😭
