Do I dare say Lauren Kung Jessen ruined my ranking by writing this one because IT IS NOW FIRST PLACE?!!!

I loved Hazel and Logan so much. Their chemistry just flowed so beautifully from the very beginning and I felt like I was on a carousel of their story and never wanted to get off! Logan was one of the most sweetest golden retriever characters I've read in a while and the tie die shirts?! I mean WHAT!!!

The "life lessons" LKJ wrote into this book just spoke to me in so many ways. The superstitious aspects and the fear of not being needed? I was a mess by the end of this book with tears streaming down my face. I love and appreciate her writing so much and this one is definitely not an exception.

There are some fictional worlds I never want to leave and this is one of them. I genuinely wonder how V.E. Schwab does it because her writing carries the gravitas perfect for this genre and everything comes to life so naturally. Action scene I don't usually enjoy plays like a movie in my head and side character I usually don't care much for take over my entire personality.

With how much I enjoyed Vicious, I was so scared of my own expectations and I had no notes. I cannot wait for book 3 in this series and everything else to come!
