Buckle in because the magical realism whimsy queen has done it again! I am obsessed with how much personality and fun Kirsty Greenwood has with her FMCs, it's genuinely like being teleported into their mind and soul and you become ONE. I always have a blast with her humor and this one was no exception. I was so hooked from the beginning of this book!
If you enjoyed 'A Novel Love Story' by Ashley Poston, I would highly recommend this one as well! Romantic Hero brought the boisterous type of whimsy that was so refreshing and the relationship between the couple was so cute. If you struggle with prioritizing yourself, I think you will also see a lot of yourself in the FMC.
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Berkley for an early copy of this!

You, with a View was a very sweet read! I loved the connection to photography and I was fully engaged in the main plot as the author connected it back to the letters and history between Paul and Kat. What I didn't think was the correct marketing for this book was the "enemies-to-lovers" trope. Theo and Noelle were definitely more rivals-to-lovers, but even that was a hard sell? I wish I had more glimpses in the past to help build their connection. I absolutely LOVED the couple though and I was screaming in their build up scenes. The 3rd act breakup was short and sweet, Noelle is an empathetic soul and I love her for it. I personally didn't like the push of TikTok (as I'm not huge fan of pop culture references in my books), and I felt like I got more TikTok references vs. some of the characters in this book.
But, omg Theo. The one take away from this book was that I needed more bossy MMCs in my life? He genuinely was the highlight of this book and if I pick it up again, I will be picking it up to gush over the things this man said. Also the last chapter was literally everything! One of the best ending to a book I've read so far!
