I liked how The Prisoner Healer took a more unique take on the romantasy plot line, however it is VERY loosely considered a romantasy in my opinion. The romance is very slight (if you can condsider it romance) and the "fantasy" aspect is rarely mentioned, it almost pops up out of no where and then randomly becomes important at the end. I had a hard time feeling invested in a lot of the book, I'm thinking it might've been because I did an audiobook, and I probably would've enjoyed this more if I read it myself, but the ending ALMOST made up for it.

It was nice to see things from Blythe's perspective, but I definitely missed Signa's POV in this one. also the ending made me sad, and the epilogue only kind of helped ease the end.

This was such a cozy read to wrap up the trilogy of Belladonna. In previous books I wasn't a huge fan of how certain characters were left out of the POV chapters, but this one was split well among the main characters. It was also a great way to wrap up the ending of Wisteria and to know what happened next.

I’m really not trying to hate, but I’m struggling to figure out why the Zodiacs are so important in this. They’re mentioned a lot, but why? What do they have to do with the academy or their powers?
