Post from the Dream Count forum
I posted a review of this book on my Instagram. I know it's slightly harsh and my tone is critical; I try to also talk about the positives and what I liked. The moment I posted, I got my quickest 500 views. I'm sure people are watching the whole reel till the end to know it's not all bad

I'm usually team reading over watching but the show was actually goooood so idk, will the book live up to the hype and overwrite the show in my memory??

Feels like weāve lost the plot here. Was anyone else really enjoying this and then started to dislike it in the last third?

Or on a flight, in a long train or just on a very long sunny picnic day. It's a thriller and very exciting until the very end. I have recommended this book to everyone I know literally!!
Post from the Sorrow and Bliss forum
Meg Mason's Sorrow and Bliss was such a sensitive, moving and raw story of the struggles of a woman, the misdiagnoses and a constant feeling of guilt and sabotage. A Real Pain by Jesse Einsenberg and Keiran Culkin won awards and hearts, alike. The story line, filmography and Culkin's acting through his very expressive eyes, will leave you teary eyed and wanting to hug a loved one. I found similarities in both these stories through the medium of plot, turning points and direction of the story line, leading the story through the p.o.v. of a relationship. The endings are warm and will leave you thinking for a long time. Both these stories do not give you a clinical diagnosis of the mental illness but will respectfully dissect the emotional fragility of the state of mind of the characters.
