I've been having a good run with Indie authors these last few times and want to continue the trend. A space opera with a slow burn romance, consider me convinced.

I just read a review of a book I'm so excited about and the person actually DNFd it bc its in 3rd person... There's this one line review that said "third person dnf" 😬 And I've seen a lot of reels and threads about how 3rd pov is difficult to understand for some readers. Which is totally valid bc if it's difficult then it ok to avoid or dnf it but saying one is superior than the other is not ok though!!! And then there's someone on threads who has posted this stats about how 86% of all the books that's sold last month are all in 1st person!!!! 😵 Please tell me about your preferences and recommend some of your favourite fantasy/romance books in 3rd person POV

With all the new quests dropping today (including the first installment of the genre starter packs), I'm curious. What inspires you to join a quest? Do you have certain criteria or do you just think "oooh pretty badge, must join"? 😂 For me, I've set the limit that I must have a genuine interest in at least 5 books in a quest to join it. That way I know I can at least obtain the lowest tier of badge, doesn't matter if it's a side or main quest. I feel like if there are less than 5 books in the quest that I want to/have read, it's probably not for me anyway. What do you think? Do you have a similar thought process or do you think about the quests completely differently?

Personal TBR? Overflowing. Recommendations? Spiraling. Book clubs? Too many. PB quests?? Absolutely amazing… and absolutely unhinging my reading schedule. How do you manage your TBR when your soul screams “read it all!” but time responds with “lol good luck”? 😩

Why did everything have to be so hard? Why did he have to try and try and try all the time and get nowhere? Yeah I know the feeling 🤧

An introduction to the Romantasy genre, these books are part of the cultural zeitgeist or the 'canon' that many would recognize. Look for more niche titles in later Starter Pack volumes.

Dramatic battles, tense political intrigue, unique world building...and is that maybe some romance I'm sensing? These books are not Romantasy but focus primarily on the SFF elements. Romance is a subplot and may not appear until later in the series, but when it does, you won't be disappointed.
